Build real AI skills.
At your own desk.
Tensorhaus offers structured evening courses in machine learning and applied AI engineering — written for working adults in Malaysia who want the mathematics to feel usable rather than decorative.
Three tracks. One clear path.
Each course builds on the previous. You can enter at the level that fits your current background and move forward at a pace that works around a full working week.
Foundations of Machine Learning
Eight weeks covering Python for data work, linear algebra as used in practice, gradient descent, regression, classification and honest model evaluation. Roughly eight hours a week split between live sessions and coursework.
- Weekly graded exercises
- Tutor code review
- Private cohort forum
- Written completion record
Applied Deep Learning Track
Sixteen weeks through neural network training, convolutional and sequence models, transformers, fine-tuning and the engineering around them: data pipelines, experiment tracking, evaluation and cost. Twelve hours a week including two live sessions.
- GPU credits for coursework
- Four assessed projects
- Tutor code review on each
- Written completion record
Mentored Capstone & Portfolio Programme
Twenty-four weeks in which each learner ships one substantial project end to end — problem framing, data collection, training, evaluation, deployment and a written technical report. Intended for people who want a body of work to show.
- Weekly one-to-one mentoring
- Fortnightly cohort reviews
- Portfolio & interview workshops
- Cloud credits + completion record
Ready to start building with AI?
Courses run in scheduled cohorts with a fixed start date. Places are set per cohort to keep the learning environment small enough for real feedback.
What makes the difference
Evening schedule
All sessions run in the evenings, designed around a standard Malaysian working week. You keep your job while building new skills.
Tutor code review
Every submission gets individual feedback from a practising engineer — not automated grading. You learn what your code actually does wrong.
Structured prerequisites
A static prerequisite lattice maps which topics depend on which. No guesswork about whether you are ready for the next stage.
Small cohort sizes
Places per cohort are capped so that tutors can actually read your code and give feedback that refers to what you wrote, not a generic rubric.
Written completion record
Each course produces a written record of completion stating the topics covered and the hours committed — a concrete document you can share with employers.
Real compute included
GPU credits and cloud resources are bundled with the deep learning and capstone tracks so you train models on actual hardware rather than toy datasets.
Frequently asked questions
Who are these courses designed for?
The Foundations track is written for working adults with some programming background who want to understand how machine learning models are built and evaluated. The Deep Learning track suits software engineers or those who completed a foundations-level programme. The Capstone is for people who already have the technical background and want a body of work to demonstrate it.
How much time do I need each week?
Foundations asks for roughly eight hours a week. Applied Deep Learning asks for around twelve hours including two live sessions. The Capstone varies by project phase but averages ten to fifteen hours — a large part of that is your own project work, which you control.
When do cohorts start and how do I enrol?
Cohorts run on a rolling schedule with new intakes every six to eight weeks. Send an enquiry through the contact form and we will share the dates for the next available cohort in the track you are interested in, along with the intake requirements.
What do I receive at the end of a course?
Each track produces a written record of course completion that names the topics covered, the assessed work completed and the total hours committed. For the Capstone, you also finish with a deployed project, a written technical report and portfolio materials prepared during the programme's interview practice workshops.
How is payment structured?
Course fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit. Foundations is RM 480, the Deep Learning Track is RM 2,400 and the Capstone Programme is RM 4,180. Payment details and instalment options where available are shared during the enrolment conversation.
